Beginning in October we started having meetings and mini classes at the Center to support the Sanctuary and as a result of an interest in what we do here that is different we are holding mini classes in energy healing, hypnosis and other classes in alternative methods of healing and communication.

Some of the animals, feral and domesticated are in their teens and early twenties and healthy. What is going on? 

 

Our environment is one of peace and tranquility even with a mix of dogs, cats, pssums and other critters who frequent the center for food, safety and a place to get out of the elements whether it is blistering heat or frigid temperatures.  

 

The Rule here is that ALL must get along and that means everyone! 

 

 

 

UPCOMING EVENTS - 2012 AND IT LOOKS LIKE ONE GREAT YEAR AHEAD!

 

The second in a series of psychic development classes is scheduled for later this month, February! Date to be announced.

 

February 10, Saturday, class at Bodacious Bods in Adairsville. Luz is serving tea and everyone will be treated to a relaxation session and a tour of her business which includes everything cosmetic! From hair to body sculpting to liposuction - if you plan to attend please email so we can reserve your spot.

Again, donations only to attend. 

 

January 22nd- 12 noon - pendulum demonstration, bring your own or choose from a selection of pendulums which include moonstone, jasper, clear, brown, rose crystal and quarts.

 

12:30 the first in a series of PSYCHIC DEVELOPMENT classes. You learn to develop and use your first five why not your 6th Sense? 

 

These classes are DONATION ONLY - give from your heart to support the continuance of these informative classes and to support the animals at the sanctuary.

 

Afterward - schedule a session of reiki, crystal healing at reduced rates for those who attend.  Scheduled sessions will not necessarily be the same day but scheuled for a later date at your convenience. 

 

PAST EVENTS OF 2011:

 

 

On July 17th we attended Unity Christ Church in Kennesaw for Animals Vendors Day. Thanks to Debbie Rouleau who is the Animal Minister there for  being such a gracious hostess.  

 

We also set up at Tractor Supply of Rome during the summer and fall and will again be back when the weather permits.  For now please make donations to the center through our canister as you leave the check out.  Since June of 2011 these donations have helped us to spay/neuter 27 animals, 3 dogs and 24 cats!   WOOOOHOOOO! Thank you!

We appreciate everyone who sends donations of cat litter, cat food, coupons, used newspapers and blankets for use at the Pleasant Valley Sanctuary. We appreciate the many businesses that allow us to place receptacles for donations such as Classy Critters grooming salon, Tractor Supply of Rome, Georgia where we have a donation jar and where West Georgia Spay and Neuter Clinic sends a mobile unit once a month to pick up and transport animals for reasonable spay and neuter fees and brings them back the next morning.

 

Thanks to those who request to attend the Center for a relaxing meditation or a meditation to meet your highest guide, higher self or a meditation for answers to problems at home, in career or other issues.  These are done on a donation basis and usually one-on-one or a small group.

 

Anyone wishing to help with donations by putting out a donation receptacle at your place of business is truly appreciated.  Call Judy at 706-238-3268 for more information.

 

Classes in Reiki, level one and two are on-going so call or email for a specific date and time.   Animal Reiki requires levels one and two Reiki and is usually done by email, telephone or distance with lessons and activities.

Our continuing mission is to inform the public about the benefits of communication and alternative healing practices for animals and their companions with affordable plans and mobile sessions. We do not take in strays or unwanted animals but will direct you to a shelter or individual who does so contact us by email with information and possibly pictures of the animals.
